Before you install it.
Do I need an internet connection?
No, not to listen to what you've already imported — narration happens on the device itself. You only need internet to fetch web articles or download books from the Audia Library.
What formats can I import?
DRM-free EPUB, PDF with selectable text, MOBI, AZW, PRC, TXT, RTF, DOCX, ODT and FB2, plus pasted text and web articles. Protected ebooks and PDFs made only of scanned images are not supported.
Is Audia Plus a subscription?
No. It's a one-time in-app purchase: you pay once and it never renews.
Is my text sent to a server?
No. Text-to-speech conversion happens on your iPhone or iPad, without uploading your content to an outside service.
How many languages can it read?
The 15 included voices read in 31 different languages, with pronunciation adapted to each one.
